Option one: 

Many new brides are nervous about what's going to happen once they're married. You've had the talk with your Mom and confirmed it with your girlfriends. In all likelihood, you're going to be expected to... cook! Don't panic, we'll get you dashing your way around a kitchen in no time with this package bringing a whole new meaning to the concept of a kitchen tea! 

On arrival at the cooking school, the ladies are given an introduction to the preparation of all the dishes to be cooked (minimum of 6 dishes per class). The ladies will be divided into groups, and each "student" will be assigned tasks in preparing the various dishes (you get your hands dirty, but we provide the use of aprons, so come in comfortable clothes and shoes, preferably non-slip gym shoes). Once the class is finished and the food is ready, participants sit down together and enjoy the food that they have prepared. 

The class & leisurely meal takes about 3½-4 hours. Classes run in the mornings from ±09h00, and in the afternoon and evening, from latest 18h00. The experience includes extensive notes and recipes; all ingredients and the use of aprons to wear while cooking, teas, coffees and soft drinks in the morning classes; limited white and red house wine by the glass, and soft drinks in the evening classes. Wine Tasting: You invite your friends to your house and we will send a trained personal wine consultant to present 6 - 8 wines from a specific winery or to a specific theme. Wines are available for sale to the guests and the bride-to-be will receive a free wine hamper. All wines and glasses are provided. 

Enjoy your party, hold your glass high and recite the following, "Old wine and old friends are enough provisions."
Cost: R150 per person, excluding travel charge (minimum of 10 ladies required)

Wine Blending: You may have mixed the last few drops of wine from several bottles together, but have you gone to a blending party? You can taste, analyze and blend to create a taste you love. Those who pride themselves on knowing a good wine will no doubt turn their noses up at the idea of a wine mash-up, but the rest of us love the idea of learning more while having a little fun. 

This is an afternoon or evening of that everyone will remember for a long time to come (as long as they don’t partake too freely of their blended efforts!) Guests will be divided into groups, who will compete against each other in blending (with prizes for the winning team), after which they will each get to bottle their wine to take home. All wines, tasting glasses, cylinders and bottles are provided.
