Stork Party Packages

The ladies are given an introduction to the preparation of all the dishes to be cooked (minimum of 6 dishes per class). The ladies will be divided into groups, and each student will be assigned tasks in preparing the various dishes (you get your hands dirty, but we provide the use of aprons, so come in comfortable clothes and shoes, preferably non-slip gym shoes). Once the class is finished and the food is ready, participants sit down together and enjoy the food that they have prepared. 

The class & leisurely meal takes about 3½-4 hours. Classes run in the mornings from ±09h00, and in the afternoon and evening, from latest 18h00. The experience includes extensive notes and recipes; all ingredients and the use of aprons to wear while cooking, teas, coffees and soft drinks in the morning classes; limited white and red house wine by the glass, and soft drinks in the evening classes. Bring only your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

The mom-to-be will receive a gift voucher for her and her husband to use to hone their cooking skills further!

A fine dining experience tailored to the specific needs of the individual can be enjoyed in an exclusive up-market private dining room. Views from the room take the eye up an imposing avenue towards Saxonwold. With its gleaming 20-seater French polished table, this private room provides a perfect setting for an intimate ladies breakfast or lunch.

3 options:  

 Full English Breakfast: Your choice of 2 eggs (prepared in your favoured style), tomato, back bacon, beef & pork sausages, hash brown potatoes, black mushroom, toast, chilled fresh fruit juice and choice of hot beverage. The ladies are also welcome to indulge in some of the delights from the continental buffet which includes fruits & berries, yoghurt, cereals, hot oatmeal with maple syrup, rolls, pastries, croissants, cold meat, salmon and an array of cheeses (served from 06:30 to 10:30)

 2 Course Lunch: Each lady can decide between either a starter and main meal or a main meal and dessert. They will have 4 choices to debate over and regardless of their personal choice, will have the opportunity for their senses to be indulged by the Chef’s masterpieces, whose culinary expertise and flair is internationally respected.

Recommended Optional Extra: Why don't you complete the decadence with a gift box of truffles for each lady?

Each lady participates in making a batch of truffles from scratch. They get to make chocolate shooter cups and enjoy ice cold Amarula cream, followed by creating hollow Easter egg/bunny chocolates, a detailed "love" chocolate, fun pink/white gums and teeth choc, finishing off with decorating a gift chocolate. Everything made by the ladies can be eaten on the day or taken home to enjoy later. While the chocolate making is underway, a chocolate fountain will be set up with three dips for each lady to enjoy.

All the equipment is provided, including gas cookers, pots, and all the chocolate (milk, white, caramel, pink and red for decorating, double boilers, aprons, packing, chocolate decoration etc. A fridge / freezer combination is the only thing we would need on site.

Cost: R300 per person (minimum of 10 ladies). For groups of 15 or more, the cost goes down to R275 per person.
